Job Description

Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities: • Triaging patients according to the severity of their illness for urgent attention in critical cases. • Organizing and maintaining cleanliness of the relevant section.Treating patients with courtesy and friendliness while maintaining confidentiality of their problems and information. • Taking thorough patient history and performing detailed examination. • Accurately and systematically recording each case with complete details in the register book. • Treating patients using rational prescription methods and applying essential medicines with appropriate dosage and duration. • Full coordination with other sections of the clinic. • Assisting and guiding other clinic staff when necessary or upon their request. • Collecting and systematically recording disease prevalence data and timely informing the clinic supervisor in case of any outbreak. • Monitoring fees collected and medicine prices, and preventing any irregularities. • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and the clinic. • Recognizing and respecting the existing community health system, strictly adhering to interdepartmental and external referral systems, treating referred cases by CHWs and midwives appropriately, and providing proper feedback to them. • Preparing accurate monthly activity reports on time and submitting them to the clinic supervisor. • Participating in workshops and training courses organized or recommended by the administration. • Striving to create a friendly environment among staff and patients. • Regular and active participation in clinic meetings. • Continuous presence at the workplace. • Strict adherence to organizational policies and regulations. • Observing Islamic, ethical, and social laws • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work and deal successfully in a multi-cultural environment.

Job Requirements

• Graduated from recognized medical university. • At least 1 year of experience in the management of health and nutrition at clinics/HFs, • Good understanding of BPHS and EPHS projects. • Good knowledge of MoPH policies. • Ability to manage a high workload and meet deadlines, demonstrated flexibility and multi-task ability. • Good interpersonal skills, motivation for teamwork.
