Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care to patients. The nurse will assess patients’ conditions, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor vital signs, maintain accurate patient records, and work closely with doctors and other healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients according to established standards and hospital policies.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and general health condition.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
- Prepare patients for surgery, diagnostic procedures, and other treatments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential nursing and patient records.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and promptly report any concerns to the responsible physician.
- Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices.
- Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and basic healthcare practices.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper use of nursing equipment.
- Provide emotional support and respectful communication to patients and their families.
- Follow hospital policies, professional ethics, and patient safety standards.
- Participate in shift handovers and communicate important patient information to the incoming nursing team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing license/registration as required by relevant authorities.
- Previous hospital or clinical experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care, and infection prevention.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and confidentiality.
- Good professional ethics and patient-centered attitude.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends when required.

Performance Expectations
The Staff Nurse is expected to provide high-quality, safe, respectful, and timely nursing care while maintaining professional standards and contributing positively to the overall quality of hospital services.
Preference
Priority will be given to candidates who possess valid educational documents in Nursing, including a Nursing Diploma and Academic Transcript.
Job Requirements
